This Privacy Policy explains how GPTAha ("GPTAha", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Save ChatGPT Conversation browser extension, the GPTAha website, and related services (together, the "Services").

Save ChatGPT Conversation helps users export ChatGPT conversations, including by sending conversation content to our server to generate PDF files. Please read this policy carefully so you understand what data is processed when you use the Services.

Information We Collect

We may collect and process the following categories of information:

  • Account information, such as your email address, sign-in provider, and authentication session information.
  • Subscription and billing status, such as your plan, renewal status, and payment-related identifiers. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly by GPTAha.
  • Conversation export content, such as the ChatGPT conversation title and messages that you choose to export.
  • Export options, such as selected export format and paid features such as removing branding.
  • Technical and usage information, such as request time, browser type, IP address, device information, error logs, and rate-limit signals.
  • Support and feedback information, such as your email address and uninstall feedback when you choose to submit it.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide the Services, including generating PDF exports from conversations you submit.
  • Authenticate users and manage accounts, sessions, subscriptions, and plan limits.
  • Process payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and subscription changes.
  • Respond to support requests, feedback, and security or abuse reports.
  • Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and protect the Services.
  • Improve the website, extension, and export experience.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your ChatGPT conversation content to train AI models.

Conversation Content

When you export a conversation, the extension sends the conversation content needed for that export to our server. Our server formats the content and may use trusted infrastructure and rendering providers to generate the requested file.

We process conversation content only to provide the export feature, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, and maintain the Services. We aim not to permanently store conversation content after the export is complete. However, limited technical logs may be retained for security, debugging, and operational purposes.

You should not export or submit content unless you have the right to process, save, and share it.

Browser Extension Permissions

The browser extension may access ChatGPT pages so it can detect and export the conversation you choose to save. The extension should only send conversation content to GPTAha when you use an export feature that requires our server, such as PDF generation.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, support security, and understand how the website is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some parts of the Services may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

Third-Party Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to operate the Services. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us. They may include:

  • Infrastructure and rendering providers, for hosting, reliability, and export generation.
  • Stripe, for subscription billing and payment processing.
  • Google, for Google sign-in.

  • Database and hosting providers, for storing account, session, subscription, and operational data.

These providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We may share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers that help us operate the Services.
  • When you direct us to process information, such as when you submit a conversation for PDF export.

We retain account, subscription, payment, support, and operational records for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect against abuse.

Conversation content submitted for export is intended to be transient and used to generate the requested file. Some limited logs may be retained temporarily for debugging, security, and reliability.

Your Choices and Rights

We may retain information where required or permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, billing records, and legitimate business purposes.

You can cancel your subscription from your account dashboard where available, or contact us for help.

Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
